Leeds Rhinos quintet included in England Academy squad for 2014

Leeds Rhinos’ Ash Handley, Elliot Minchella, George Milton, Matt Stableford and Robbie Ward have been named in the 2014 England Academy squad.

In addition, Wakefield Trinity Wildcats’ Max Jowitt and Castleford Tigers’ Will Maher have also been included.

The 2014 season will see an increase of players involved with a 36-man training squad selected for the England Academy (under-18s) who take on Australian High Schools in December.

Elsewhere, Leeds Rhinos’ Cameron Smith, Morgan Smith, Connor Sunderland, Rory Dixon and Ryan Jones have been named in the 2014 England Youth squad.

Wakefield’s Will Dagger and Liam Paisley are also in the England squad who play play a two-match Test series in France at Easter, as well as matches against Wales.
