Leeds Rhinos: New signings will add spice - McClennan
New signings Kyle Amor and Michael Coady have been a breath of fresh for Leeds Rhinos, according to coach Brian McClennan.
The duo began training full-time with Rhinos this week and McClennan said their introduction has given the rest of the players a huge lift.

After going into the 2009 campaign with no new faces, McClennan feels having four recruits – Brett Delaney also began training this week and Greg Eastwood will arrive next month – is a positive for the whole squad.

Coady has joined Rhinos from Doncaster, with Amor also moving up from a semi-professional culture at Whitehaven.
"They will benefit from a full pre-season," McClennan said. "They will benefit more than most, due to the fact they have not been in a (full-time) professional environment before.
"I think they are going to make greater gains than most, that is to be expected and so far, so good.
"We have just started our testing, but both players have done really well, which is very pleasing.
"It is a really challenging time for those two and for Brett and Gregg, when he gets here.

"The first thing you've got to do when you go into a new team is earn your stripes and gain the respect of your team mates and the coaching staff.
"That's why it is refreshing to have some new players in your squad as you go into a new season.

"It has been nice to get to know some new players and involve them within the Rhinos environment. It is going to help our squad grow again."
Delaney is undergoing treatment for injuries carried over from last season, when he was with Gold Coast Titans.
"He is getting there," said McClennan, right. "He's had to do a bit of re-hab, his hamstring is not as good as we thought it was going to be.
"He has been through a medical check and he is going to have to start off with our physios, going through a re-hab programme to get him up to speed.
"He will be okay for the start of the season, but he has gone into the re-hab group with Danny Buderus, Jamie Jones-Buchanan, Ali Lauitiiti, Ian Kirke and Keith Senior."
Senior (shoulder), Kirke (ankle) and Jones-Buchanan (knee) all underwent off season surgery, Buderus missed the final few months of the 2009 campaign due to a broken leg and Lauitiiti damaged an ankle in the Grand Final win over St Helens.
"There's a re-hab group that goes right through the year, that's normal," McClennan said.
"Brett won't take long in that group, it could be two weeks before he's incorporated into the main group."
