in-form centre Joel Moon could return for Leeds Rhinos in tonight’s Ladbrokes Challenge Cup semi-final showdown with St Helens.

Moon, a try scorer in last year’s semi-final win against Warrington Wolves, missed the Super League victory over Catalans Dragons five days ago due to an Achilles problem.

Coach Brian McDermott will select from the 17 players on duty against Catalans, plus Moon and winger Ash Handley, who scored a hat-trick in both this season’s league wins over Saints, but lost his place last week to the returning Tom Briscoe. James Roby will replace Lewis Charnock at hooker for Saints. Louie McCarthy-Scarsbrook and Greg Richards are also set to feature after being rested against Hull KR last Friday.

Tonight will be Leeds’ record 46th Challenge Cup semi-final.

Leeds Rhinos: from Hardaker, Briscoe, Watkins, Moon, Hall, Sinfield, McGuire, Leuluai, Aiton, Peacock, Delaney, Ablett, Cuthbertson, Singleton, Garbutt, Jones-Buchanan, Burrow, Keinhorst, Handley.

St Helens: from Quinlan, Dawson, Percival, Turner, Swift, Burns, Walsh, Amor, Roby, McCarthy-Scarsbrook, Greenwood, Jones, Thompson, Masoe, Vea, Walmsley, Flanagan, Savelio, Richards.

Referee: Ben Thaler (Wakefield).

Kick-off: Tonight, 8pm at HJ Stadium, Warrington.
