Leeds Rhinos: Moon on the verge of Leeds selection

CENTRE JOEL Moon could return for Leeds Rhinos when they visit St Helens tonight.

Moon has missed Rhinos’ last two games due to a groin injury, but has been included in the initial 19-man squad for tonight.

Coach Brian McDermott will select from the players who beat Hull last week, plus Moon and Jordan Baldwinson. Players ruled out are Tom Briscoe, Ryan Hall, Danny McGuire, Adam Cuthbertson, Stevie Ward, Josh Walters and Brett Ferres.

Saints could be boosted by the return of long-term casualty Jonny Lomax. Atelea Vea, Mark Percival and Joe Greenwood are back in contention, and Calvin Wellington, an under-19s winger, is also included in Saints’ initial 19. Jordan Turner, Jake Spedding and Jack Ashworth drop out.
