HUNSLET HAWKS boss Paul March isn’t expecting any shocks in the Carnegie Challenge Cup fourth round.

Hawks are at home to top-flight side Salford City Reds and March said: “We go into every game wanting to win, but realistically it is a massive ask.

“It depends how Salford turn up. If they turn up like they did against Bradford (when Reds won 56-16), it could be a very long day.

“If they turn up like they have done on other occasions, we are in with a shout if we play like we can.

“I can’t see any Super League club getting knocked out in this round, but it is the greatest competition in the world, everyone wants to play in it and it brings the best out of everybody.

“We are looking forward to it and hopefully we will entertain everyone who’s there.”

Hawks are without Richie Barnett due to a minor injury, but March, Steve Dooler, Richard Chapman and Joe Helme will all return.
