HUNSLET HAWKS will host London Skolars in the first of their Kingstone Press League 1 Super 8s fixtures on Saturday, July 23, kick-off 2pm.

The new format sees the Super 8s teams play each other once with the top four teams having four home fixtures and the bottom four having three home fixtures.

After seven matches, first will play second in the League 1 Promotion Final with the winning team promoted; the losing team will enter a four-club play-off with a home fixture against the fifth-placed team whilst second plays third. The winners of those two matches will contest a play-off final for the second promotion place.

Following their home opener against the Skolars, the Hawks face a trip to Cougar Park to face Keighleyo n July 31.

Hunslet complete their Super 8s programme with a trip to Spotland Stadium to take on Rochdale Hornets.

Due to the lack of availability of the South Leeds Stadium, the Hawks will not play any of their three home games on the usual match day of Sunday.

They will face both London and Toulouse on a Saturday afternoon, with the other home game against Doncaster due to be played on a Friday evening.
