HUNSLET WILL fancy their chances of progressing in the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup after being handed a home third round tie against Kingstone Press League One rivals Coventry Bears, on the weekend of February 25/26.

James Coyle’s Hunslet, whose competitive season begins in the League One Cup at home to Newcastle Thunder on Sunday, won 38-18 when the midlands outfit visited South Leeds Stadium last year.

Amateur survivors Fryston Warriors - the Yorkshire Cup holders and Pennine League leaders – will attempt to create an upset after being drawn at home to League One Keighley Cougars.

National Conference champions Siddal, from Halifax, will be Toronto Wolfpack’s first competitive opponents, while York City Knights and Doncaster were drawn at home to community sides Egremont Rangers and Myton Warriors respectively.

The full draw is: West Hull/Thatto Heath v Whitehaven, Hemel Stags v London Skolars, Fryston Warriors v Keighley Cougars, University of Gloucestershire All Golds v North Wales Crusaders, Newcastle Thunder v Workington Town, Doncaster v Myton Warriors, Siddal v Toronto Wolfpack, Barrow Raiders v Rochdale Mayfield, York City Knights v Egremont Rangers, South Wales Ironmen v Oxford, Hunslet v Coventry Bears, Wests Warriors v Haydock.
