FEATHERSTONE ROVERS will face London Broncos at Ealing tomorrow (3pm) knowing it is a pivotal game in their Qualifiers campaign.

Both teams began with a loss against Betfred Super League opposition last Saturday and Rovers coach John Duffy said: “All the Championship teams will be looking to turn each other over and that’ll be the case this week.”

London were pipped 20-18 in the south of France and Duffy added: “I thought they deserved to win against Catalans so they will be very confident.

“We have got to go down there with the right attitude and be willing to go the full 80 to get the win.”

But Duffy felt Rovers showed some encouraging signs in their 38-12 defeat by Leigh Centurions.

He said: “Watching the game back, the boys were really disappointed. We didn’t take our opportunities when they came and we let in some soft tries, but the boys have worked really hard this week and there were a lot of positive signs from the Leigh game. We’ve changed the way we play a bit in attack and there were some good signs there.

“We have got better in training and hopefully we take it into Sunday’s game.”

Luke Briscoe damaged an ankle against Leigh, but Chris Ulugia and Jason Walton are in contention after injury and Leeds Rhinos’ Jordan Baldwinson is set to replace the suspended James Lockwood.
