Dewsbury Rams picked up a morale-bossting victory at Whitehaven, triumphing 36-16.

The Rams raced into a 12-0 lead at half-time thanks to tries from Dalton Grant and Paul Sykes, who finished the game with six goals.

Whitehaven hit back, Craig Calvert and Connor Holliday each touched down and Louis Jouffret converted both to level the game, but tries from Sykes, Shane Grady, Josh Guzdek and Grant ensured an away win, despite Dave Allen crossing at the other end.

Third-placed Bradford Bulls overran Swinton Lions 54-8.

Clare (2), Caro (2), Sidlow, Welham, Addy, Thomas, Olbison and Gaskell crossed the whitewash for Bulls, with Addy (6) and Thomas adding conversion points.

Division leaders Leigh Centurions made light work of third-bottom Oldham Roughyeds. It finished 56-14 to the visitors.

Maitua (2), Smith, Ridyard, Kay, Hood, Armstrong, Reynolds, Acton and Weston scored tries, with Ridyard (6) and Reynolds (2) converting the scores.

Bottom club Workington recorded only their second Kingstone Press Championship victory of the campaign by winning 37-30 at Sheffield Eagles.

Perry Whiteley grabbed a hat-trick of tries while Carl Forber scored 17 points for the visitors.

In League One, Hunslet Hawks crashed 46-24 at home to top-four-chasing Toulouse.

Hawks tries were scored by Mackay, Lee (2) and Brown, who also landed four conversions.
