MILFORD MARLINS’ strong finish earned them a win over Hunslet Warriors in National Conference Division One.
Marlins did not lead until Josh Nathaniel crossed on 70 minutes, then Andy Barker (72), Zak Snelgrove (74) and Nathaniel (79) added tries to complete a 42-20 success. Earlier try scorers were Macauley Barron, Andy Barker and Tom Wilson.
James Barker was man of the match for Milford and John Elkington and Josh Parle, who kicked seven goals, also had big games. Warriors’ try scorers were Dave Norton , Caldon Bravo and Luke Day. Daryl Gaunt kicked three goals and Darrell Forster added one and their man of the match was Dave Norton.
Omar Alrawi, who has returned from League One neighbours Hunslet, was among the try scorers for Hunslet Club Parkside in an 8-6 win at Shaw Cross. Danny Harrison also touched down.
East Leeds were pipped 26-24 at home by Dudley Hill, after leading 24-10 at half-time. Easts’ try scorers were Kyle Quinlan, Tom Sheldrake, who also added a goal, Rhys Kilbride and three-goal Nathan Conroy.
Oulton Raiders trailed 12-0 after two minutes at Drighlington, but hit back to win 34-30 through an Adrian Holdsworth hat-trick, tries by Dom Flanagan, Josh Murray, Kieran Hainsworth and Harry Grayson, and three Kieran Walpole goals.
Try scorers for Thornhill Trojans in a 38-24 home loss to Saddleworth Rangers were George Woodcock (2), Ryan Fenton and Sam Ratcliffe, who added a goal. Danny Ratcliffe kicked three goals.
Niall Murphy scored a try and three goals in Stanningley’s 22-16 Division Three win over visitors Woolston. Joe Brier, Thomas Sharp and Tom Kent also crossed.
