McGuire was due to return last week from the knee injury suffered in Rhinos’ opening game of the season, but missed the 30-18 win over St Helens after straining a calf in training.

Briscoe has not played since damaging an ankle in Rhinos’ second game of the year, at Widnes.

Ryan Hall, who picked up an ankle injury last Friday and was wearing a protective boot at the start of the week, has been named in the 19, but is a major doubt.

Jimmy Keinhorst could return from a calf problem, but there is no recall for Brad Singleton and Mitch Garbutt - who were omitted last week - and Jordan Lilley drops out.

Rhinos spokesman Phil Daly said: “Both (Singleton and Garbutt) are fit and available for selection, but have not made the 19 this week.

“They will be in contention along with Jordan Lilley, Mitch Achurch and Jordan Baldwinson for Monday. “

Stevie Ward and Ashton Golding are Rhinos’ definite injury absentees.

Ben Roberts could return for Tigers after missing two games due to a foot injury.

Ryan Boyle, Lee Jewitt and Greg Minikin are all hoping for a call into the 17.

Frankie Mariano, who returned from a knee reconstruction in last week’s defeat at Warrington, drops out after taking a bang to the same limb.

Matt Cook was due to face the RFL disciplinary committee on Tuesday after being charged with dangerous contact on Warrington’s Brad Dwyer and has not been named in the 19.

Luke Dorn, Michael Shenton, Oliver Holmes and Junior Moors all remain on Tigers’ casualty list.
