England centre Kallum Watkins is in contention to return for Leeds Rhinos in Thursday’s derby at home to Castleford Tigers.

Rob Burrow is still struggling with a quad injury suffered in Rhinos’ Challenge Cup final win over Hull KR three weeks ago, but has also been recalled to the 19.

Ashton Golding is vying for a recall, but Mitch Achurch is unavailable due to a hand injury suffered in last Saturday’s defeat at Catalans Dragons.

Centre or second-rower Jimmy Keinhorst has been told he does not need surgery on a damaged eye socket and could be back in action in two weeks’ time.

Tigers centre/second-row Matt Cook is set to return after a one-game ban and Liam Finn and Michael Channing are also on stand-by, with Gadwin Springer dropping out from the team beaten by St Helens last Thursday.

James Child will referee Thursday’s game.

The 19-man squads are:

Leeds Rhinos: Hardaker, Briscoe, Watkins, Moon, Hall, Sinfield, McGuire, Leuluai, Cuthbertson, Peacock, S Ward, Ablett, Delaney, Singleton, Walters, Lilley, Garbutt, Burrow, Golding.

Castleford Tigers Dorn, Gibson, McMeeken, Shenton, Solomona, Roberts, Gale, Lynch, Milner, Millington, Holmes, Moors, Wheeldon, Cook, Boyle, Maher, McShane, Finn, Channing.
