Challenge Cup quarter finals to be shown on TV

All four quarter-finals of the Tetley’s Challenge Cup will be televised live for the first time in the competition’s 118-year history and played on four consecutive days.

Sky Sports will kick off the action on Thursday, June 5, by screening a repeat of the 1937 final between Widnes and Keighley and 24 hours later will show favourites Leeds in action against Leigh in a tie that brings together the leaders of the Super League and Championship.

The stand-out tie between holders Wigan and Castleford will be shown on BBC1 on Saturday, June 7, while the following day the Bradford v Warrington tie will be on BBC2.
