A derby clash between Batley Bulldogs and Dewsbury Rams will get the second day of the Summer Bash – a full round of Kingstone Press Championship fixtures at Blackpool FC over the weekend of May 23-24 – off to a spectacular start.

The eagerly-anticipated clash kicks-off at Bloomfield Road at 12.45pm on May 24 and is followed at 3pm by newly-promoted Hunslet Hawks taking on Doncaster.

And the Summer Bash reaches a spectacular finale with a replay of this year’s Kingstone Press Championship Grand Final at 5.15pm, with Featherstone Rovers looking to avenge their defeat to champions Leigh Centurions.

The action on Saturday, May 23 starts with the League One Cup final at noon followed by clashes between Workington Town and Whitehaven at 2.30pm, London Broncos and Sheffield Eagles at 4.45pm and Bradford Bulls and Halifax at 7pm.

Tickets start from £20 for the day and £30 for the weekend and as well as the high quality drama on the pitch, fans can enjoy a packed programme of activities designed to keep the whole family entertained, including live music, a Fanzone and social media interactions.

RFL chief operating officer Ralph Rimmer said: “The Summer Bash is a tremendous addition to the new-look Championship and I am sure Rugby League fans everywhere will embrace the event and take the opportunity to spend a weekend at a venue which has a rich tradition of creating fantastic memories for the sport.”

Tickets for Summer Bash 2015 go on sale from 9am this morning from the 12 Kingstone Press Championship clubs and can also be purchased by calling the RFL Ticket Office on 0844 856 1113 or by visiting www.rugbyleaguetickets.co.uk.

Championship club season ticket holders are advised to check with their clubs for the best offers. Tickets for the full weekend for adults are £50 for reserved seating and £30 for unreserved seating and concession prices are £25 (reserved) and £15 (unreserved).

Tickets for adults per day are £30 (reserved) and £20 (unreserved) with concession ticket prices £15 and £10.
