MILFORD MARLINS continued their push for a play-offs spot and edged Hunslet Warriors deeper into relegation danger with a 46-18 derby win in National Conference Division One.

Prop Adam Kelly led from the front for Milford, whose try scorers were Tom Wilson (2), Eddie Wilson, Dave Watmough, Macauley Barron and Martin Loveridge, who also kicked six goals.

Darrell Forster bagged a brace for Warriors, Phil Lythe also crossed and Jordan Gale kicked three goals. Seventeen-year-old hooker Nathan Benson was Warriors’ man of the match.

Oulton Raiders had Matthew Stableford and Andrew Williamson sin-binned for dissent during a 30-18 home loss to Featherstone Lions.

Williamson, Matty Bullough and Craig Savage scored Raiders’ tries, all improved by Kieran Walpole. Player/coach Jamie Rooney was among Lions’ try scorers.

Kyle Quinlan scored four first-half tries as East Leeds recorded a vital 42-28 win over Millom. Jordan Normington, Ryan Gaunt, Sheridan Farley and Josh Longbottom also crossed. Gaunt (2), Tom Sheldrake (2) and Mark Greenwood kicked the goals.

Hunslet Club Parkside crushed Saddleworth Rangers 48-10 in Division Two. Jake Corney and Kieran Murphy both crossed twice and other try scorers were Danny Harrison, Craig Boot and Jamie Fields. Andrew Hullock kicked three goals and Luke O’Malley, Craig Miles and Field added one each.

Thornhill Trojans saw off visitors Wigan St Judes 42-18. Sam Ratcliffe scored two tries and five goals, James Craven went over twice and other try scorers were Mindaugas Bendikas, Liam Morley, Jake Ratcliffe and Jake Wilson.
