Pudsey Chess Club celebrates successful season

Pudsey Chess Club is celebrating a successful season after scooping two team trophies and two individual honours.

The A team won the Arjay Trophy and the Rapid-play trophy as well as finishing fourth in League Division One.

Michael Bramson was victorious in the Norman Ellis Individual Championship and Barry Fulthorpe picked up the Michael Tate trophy for the most improved player, for the second time, to cap off a strong year.

Pudsey Chess Club is still open for new players and meets every Monday at the Halfway House, Stanningley.
