Classy Arsenal ended our cup hopes on Wednesday, but our displays against a top-class Premieship outfit shows were on the right track. It's back to the bread and butter of the Championship at Portsmouth tomorrow. I just hope the midweek exertions haven't taken too much out of us. Andy O'Brien must be a doubt, so it would have to be Bromby for me and if Becchio doesn't make it, Somma must start. I predict goals galore

Prediction: Portsmouth 2 Leeds 3

Leeds bowed out of the FA Cup with heads held high, ultimately beaten by an outstanding Arsenal side who were a yard quicker in thought and movement but could only relax when Van Persie punished Parker's error with 15 minutes remaining. Injuries to Becchio and O'Brien are worrying, as is the cover in central midfield, hopefully the revenue generated in the last ten days will allow Grayson to acquire a quality, experienced campaigner desperately required. We remain Leeds and proud of it.

Prediction: Portsmouth 2 Leeds 1

United were knocked out of the FA Cup by a clinical Arsenal side at Elland Road. When Arsenal went a goal up after five minutes, it was easy to think that Leeds were in for a drubbing, but Bradley Johnson scored a sublime goal to get us back into the game. Leeds showed more poise in the second half and had a couple more chances before Van Persie secured a fourth-round spot for the Gunners. Pompey tomorrow and I hope Becchio is back as we missed him up front.

Prediction: Pompey 1 United 1

After a brave cup performance United return to league action with a trip to Fratton Park. Fresh in their minds will be the earlier Christmas fixture at Elland Road when the Whites managed to snatch a draw from the jaws of victory. Pompey have plenty of class up front in the form of Nugent, Kanu and Kitson so it's important that we attack but are careful at the back. I'm expecting a good response to the cup exit with Paynter finally getting off the mark.

Prediction: Portsmouth 2 Leeds 3

While Fratton Park hasn't been a happy hunting ground for Leeds in recent years, Simon Grayson will be eager to pick up three points against Portsmouth. Depending on Becchio's fitness there could be a chance for Paynter or Somma to stake a claim for a more regular starting place, and with George McCartney coming back into contention having missed the Arsenal game and our attacking force going from strength to strength, I can only envisage a Leeds win on the south coast.

Prediction: Portsmouth 2 Leeds 3
