North East Leeds entertained Kirkstall Crusaders with a few key players missing. With Kirkstall showing how good a side they were last week at Collingham this was going to be a hard game.

As before when the team played Kirkstall they were clearly up for it and could have taken an early lead but for some excellent defending by Stephen Carr. However we scored early, taking the lead in the fifth minute through Taff Mumbanya who finished well in a crowded box.
Within two minutes we were 2-0 up, after captain Josh Baggott chased a ball which seemed to be going out and finished well. It was 3-0 a minute later with Josh Baggott scoring his second with an extremely good finish in a one on one situation.
The game went a bit quiet from then on and we didn't perform anywhere near as well as we have in previous weeks, however against a very strong wind we went in at half time with a comfortable 3-0 lead which was pleasing.
The team continued to press for goals and after several chances which we didn't take, we scored our fourth on 47 minutes after a corner from Josh was finished well on the half volley by Markel Henry. And two minutes later he had his second of the game with an excellent, calm finish, again in a one on one situation.
Steve Waide, North East Leeds U-11s manager, said: "We managed to secure another three points in a scrappy game which was massively effected by the winds. However we worked very hard and could have had several more goals and we were very pleased by the clean sheet we managed to keep.
"There were some excellent performances throughout the team however Michael was very good a left back and deservedly was given the Man of the Match award.
"Well done on another victory against a determined and hard working Kirkstall side stretching our unbeaten run to an incredible 9 games!"
The squad: Trust Ncube, Dom Roberto, Michael Chukwu, Kieran Clarke, Stephen Carr, Oliver Batley, Declan Denison, Josh Baggott (captain), Taff Mumbanya, Aiden Yaffe, Markel Henry.
