North East Leeds started very slowly and the first half display was as bad as we have seen this season.

No-one seemed interested, there were no tackles, no challenges and no communication and subsequently we found ourselves a goal down on five minutes after a looping header found its way into the net.
The first half continued in the same manner and North East Leeds simply were not at the races.
Chapeltown were displaying some excellent passing and had some extremely good individual players and a very capable side. On 25 minutes we were 2-0 down after an excellent long range shot left Trust with no chance. At this point we needed to get to half time without conceding another and we managed to get in at half time just 2-0 down.
At half time the players were told they had to work much harder, put challenges in and show some fight and to prove they were capable of getting a result.
The half time talk must have worked as within one minute of the restart we should have scored but a Chapeltown defender cleared off the line and then two minutes later we did score. A long rage effort from Josh was saved by the keeper and Markel was first to react and finish well.
This lit a spark within the team and six minutes into the second half we were level after Markel weaved his way through the Chapeltown defence before smashing the ball high into the net from a tight angle sending the players and our contingent of supporters into raptures.
The next five minutes or so saw North East Leeds going for the third but Chapeltown weathered the storm and the game calmed down again.
The rest of the game saw both sides threatening to score a winner, with Trust making some excellent saves for us to keep it at 2-2 and North East Leeds looking threatening on the break.
The game finished a draw which was credit to the players who didn't give in despite being two goals down and in the second half displayed pride, character and hard work.
Chapeltown once more displayed they are a very good side and we wish them luck for the rest of the season.
Man of the Match went to Stephen Carr whose solid defending ensured we were only two down at half time and didn't concede further in the second half.
Everyone in the second half was excellent though and had we started the game in the same manner we could have had an even more positive result.
The squad: Trust Ncube, Dom Roberto, Billy Clarke, Stephen Carr, Lawrence Roberts, Taf Mumbanya, Declan Denison, Josh Baggott (c), Oliver Batley, Aiden Yaffe, Markel Henry, Macaulay Bennett.
Man-of-the-match: Stephen Carr.
