Head coach Anna Carter hopes she’s found the perfect mix at Yorkshire Jets who are counting down the days to the 2015 Superleague.

The Jets begin their campaign against Loughborough Lightning on Friday, January 30 at the EIS Sheffield with the team taking their home games across Yorkshire to Leeds, Sheffield, Huddersfield and Hull and partnering with the tourism agency Welcome to Yorkshire. The Headingley Campus of Leeds Beckett University will stage the Leeds games and Carter has recruited international mid-court player Sally Butters from Australia and shooter Lottysha Cato from Grenada.

Lauren Potter will again captain the side with Natalie Haythornthwaite as vice-captain. Carter beamed: “I am delighted to be naming a strong squad with a mix of developing young talented and experienced players. Our squad, backed up by our games taking place across Yorkshire, shows our commitment to developing and showcasing netball around the region.”

Squad: Lottysha Cato, Natalie Haythornthwaite (vc), Nikki Smith, Brie Grierson, Lucy Richardson (subject to injury), Lydia Walker, Sally Butters, Steph Wilson, Jess Shaw, Meg Clark, Tuaine Keenan, Lauren Potter (c), Claire Wilshire, Bea Skingsley.
