Cammish finished second in last weekend’s opening race at Silverstone to secure another national title – two years after becoming Formula Ford champion with 24 wins out of 24 in 2013.

Cammish said: “I’m really pleased – I always knew I could do well given the right opportunity but I never expected this. Ten wins and four second places from 14 races is quite a record.

“Hopefully I can move my career forward to Porsche Supercup – the one that supports the Formula One in Europe – and then put myself in a position to be looked at by some manufacturers if I do a good enough job.

“I want to be a professional racing driver and the only chance of that is in GT racing. If I can’t make it I will look for the best place to enjoy my racing which will be in Touring Cars.”
