The evening will include a supper, a disco, a raffle - and a host of memories.
Tickets, at just 5 per person, are available at the Rose & Crown or from Secretary Simon Adamson (07736 086338), Phil Hodgson (077 8698 0909) or Ernie Skerrett (0759 0018 497).
Meanwhile the Royals, who lacked a team of regulars and lost 44-4 at home to Queensbury in the first stage of the BARLA Yorkshire Cup, are seeking more players and administrators.
Training takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings under coach Tony Barik – a former Monarchs captain – from 7.00pm at their Willowbridge ground at Whitwood.
Methley performed heroically against the 2005/6 runners-up, and with centre Thomas Kaye, second-row Simon Wassell, hooker Matty Carriss-Wright, stand-off Reece Willshaw, fullback Ben Tunningley, centre Danny Snowden, second row Richard Scott, loose forward James Baxter and winger Matty Baker prominent in defence kept the Bradford outfit at bay for much of the opening quarter before Callum Murgatroyd opened the visitors' account.
The Royals hit back when Willshaw forced his way over but despite the prodigious efforts of such as scrum-half Dave Craven, winger Rob Carriss-Wright and prop Luke Pickering, who put in a rare 80-minute stint, were unable to add to their tally.
Queensbury, however, were limited to a 16-4 lead at the break, befo0re closing against the depleted Royals with a brace apiece for Murgatroyd, Luke Brearcliffe and Joe Langford. Stephen Nagy, Gregg Marriott and Gareth Chamber s also crossed, and Scott Swann landed four goals.
Methley visit Allerton Bywater on Saturday, September 26, in a CMS Yorkshire League Unison Division One fixture.
