A 10am kick-off at Brookfield saw Calverley Blues under-tens playing against first-time opponents Keighley Shamrock Stags, who had won their first game of the season 3–2.
The home side started brightly, but were soon under pressure from a well-organised Keighley side.
An 8th minute Calverley corner cleared upfield by Keighley resulted in a goal line scramble and save by Ethan Horne.

More Keighley pressure, relieved by occasional raids into the Keighley half, but without testing their keeper.
The second half continued as the first, with Calverley showing a little more enterprise, but who were not allowed to play their usual passing game by Keighley. End to end play failed to produce a goal by either side, but on reflection a point won against a team that may well be challenging at the end of the season.

Calverley Yellows 2
Keighley Shamrock Knights 2
The second game kicked-off at 10.55, Calverley Yellows having the best of early play with a number of shots being fired at the Keighley keeper who was eventually beaten by Owen Bailey in the 7th minute.
Owen subsequently shot narrowly over, then hit the bar! Calverley had certainly had the better of the first half and with luck might have had an unbeatable lead by half time.

The second half started with a determined Keighley attacking. A free kick to them followed by indecision in the Calverley defence resulted in a scrambled equaliser.
Calverley were now under pressure and with 3 minutes to go Keighley took the lead. From the restart Keighley won the ball, but failed to make anything of it. With seconds left, a long clearance by Calverley keeper Matthew Hodges, evaded two Keighley defenders and fell to Owen Bailey who calmly shot to the Keighley keeper's right to score the equaliser.
Full time 2 – 2.
