They held on for a narrow victory after withstanding a second half fightback from Sandy Lane in what was an exciting contest.
Calverley looked to be serenely cruising after Owen Bailey's crisply-struck shot into the top left hand corner had put them 3-0 lead at the interval.

Steve Thompson's little men had taken the lead in odd circumstances when Bailey's shot had cannoned against the post and deflected in off a helpless goalkeeper and had stretched their advantage through Chris Brown after Tommy Reynolds' precise corner had caused chaos in the Sandy Lane defence.
However with the icy wind in their faces after the break, Calverley were pushed back and conceded an own goal of their own through the unfortunate Ben Storr. An excellent strike from Conor Banham set up a nervous finale important interventions in defence from Ethan Horne helped Calverley hold on to keep up the pressure on league leaders Stanningley.
Calverley's A team, also contending at the top end of the table, completed a hard-fought double over Sandy Lane with a 2-1 victory.
They came out of the traps quickest after standing with their opponents for a minute's silence on Remembrance Sunday and were soon 1-0 up through Danny Taylor.
Using the full width of the field they stretched Sandy Lane and doubled their advantage soon after the break when Lewis Waddington was on hand to tap in after Louis Squires had shaken the post with a powerful left-hand drive.
With Harry Davis and Asher Simpkins in commanding form at the back, Calverley could have gone further ahead but for a fine save from Harris Thompson's penalty.
However the theme of the day continued with Calverley conceding another own goal as Simpkins' clearance struck Callum Littlejohns leaving goalkeeper Matthew Hodges helpless.
Sandy Lane could not force the equaliser though.
