Kippax laid the foundations for their first local cup success for over three decades with an early try by centre and coach Dave Jessey, followed by Stone's first two tries, with scrum-half Gavin Adkin converting all three scores, two from wide out.

Cutsyke had Danny Huby sent off on the half-hour, with Stuart Davies sin-binned, while Kippax's Johnny Hayward was red-carded in the same incident.

Winger Daniel Dickinson and scrum-half Tony Handford replied for Cutsyke in the second half, loose forward Paul Wilson converting one score.

But Kippax remained out of sight through winger Rob Kirk and substitute Joe Topping, with Stone adding two more scores in a man-of-the-match display.
