But the victory was tainted by the loss of prop George Colledge for the rest of the season with a broken foot.

They dominated the first half to take a 24-6 lead into the break and never looked in danger of losing. Liam Gill scored 2 tries and kicked 5 goals on his way to Man of the Match and Wes Charles was Man of the Match Runner Up.

A series of impressive tackles saw Sam Schofield take Top Tackler in addition to scoring a try, Best Tackle went to James Byers for a cracking effort and Harry Siddle took Most Improved with some strong running.
A piece of excellent support play from Russell Barton won him the Best Try accolade and Liam Mossby was the other Kippax try scorer. Robbie Clements, Azza Oliver and Adam Taylor made good ground going forward and were well supported by George Colledge and Harrison Jacques.
Ben Smith made some good breaks from fullback, Max Field was strong in defence and Jordan Stead made some super tackles against his old team. James Barraclough and Luke Burrow made some crucial tackles out wide, Tom Halliwell and William Ellwood-Tiffany were solid down the middle and Thomas Downes made a pleasing debut.
