Knaresborough batted first and posted 205, with the last ball of the innings being brilliantly caught in the deep by Dave Wright.
But he couldn't avoid his momentum carrying him over the boundary for six.
Colton chased with a solid start which saw Danny Gautrey post a 50, however a mini collapse saw Colton looking outsiders for the win until Johnny Johnson came to the crease and scored freely.
Unfortunately Colton fell agonisingly short finishing on 200-9 with Johnson 61 not out.
