The Blues slumped to a disappointing home defeat following Oliver Barker's second half strike and could have no complaints after a lacklustre display.

The nearest they came to a goal was in the first period when Danny Taylor hit the post but for long periods they were on the back foot against the visitors.

Some fine work between the posts from Matthew Hodges kept them in contention but at the other end they could only carve out half-chances, the best of which was put over the bar by the willing Lewis Waddington.

Harris Thompson produced a couple of trademark snap shots from outside the area but there was little genuine threat besides and Calverley know they will have to up their game for a testing midweek friendly against Leeds United.
