Keighley took advantage of their size and made Yarnbury work hard in defence to keep them out whilst they launched attack after attack.

Keighley had the first opportunity to score when a penalty attempt was kicked wide. Yarnbury opened the scoring with a break down the line by Ben Mortimer who was cut short of the line, colt Adam Malthouse was in support to scamper over from 10 yards.

Returning exile Tom Daniels added the extras.

Half time saw a change in players with Veteran centres Marshall and Sharp joining the game and immediately latched on to the forwards from the kick off to release Lee Mortimer who ran in 40 yards to score under the posts. Daniels again added the extras.

Soon after Marshall unfortunately broke his leg in a simple tackle, this put a downer on the overall result. Continued defence from Yarnbury held the rampaging Keighley pack out, the final score came from good backs play that released Winger John Salter to dodge through from 20 yards. Daniels added the extra.

Final score 21-0. Yarnbury took advantage of a tiring Keighley pack and finished the stronger
