Dave Wright was the stand out bowler with 3-83.
In reply Colton got off to a flyer and were more than halfway to the total after 25 of their 50 overs.
Unfortunately with Steeton's two spinners bowling and the boundary filled with fielders it was ultimately just too much.
Wickets fell in the search of runs as Colton scored a very respectable 262-9. Stand out innings from Nick Thackray 81.
He was ably supported by Danny Gautrey 35, Dave Wright 59 and Dom Chalk 52.
Ultimately Colton left it too late in their battle against the drop but they'll look to come back strong next season and look to regain promotion.
