Liverpool v Brighton & Hove Albion: Latest FA Cup team news

Maxi Rodriguez could make his return to the Liverpool team in this weekend’s FA Cup fifth-round clash with Brighton at Anfield.

Midfielder Rodriguez has not featured since the fourth-round victory over Manchester United at the end of January due to a foot problem, but should be fit for selection for Sunday’s visit of the npower Championship Seagulls.

Reds manager Kenny Dalglish has indicated that young defenders Jon Flanagan and Jack Robinson may come into his thinking for the tie.

Provisional squad: Reina, Johnson, Agger, Skrtel, Enrique, Adam, Gerrard, Downing, Kuyt, Carroll, Bellamy, Suarez, Doni, Kelly, Carragher, Coates, Aurelio, Spearing, Shelvey, Henderson, Rodriguez, Flanagan, Robinson.
