l UNITED'S only previous trip to the Walkers Stadium was dubbed the "Roque Horror Show" Brazilian World Cup winner Roque Junior was plunged straight into the Leeds side for his debut as Peter Reid's men crashed 4-0 to the Foxes last term. United fans also caught the first sighting of teenage goalkeeper Scott Carson, who made his first senior appearance on the bench at Leicester.

l ALAN MAYBURY will come up against his former club tomorrow - for the first time since leaving Leeds in 2001. Maybury, whose penultimate United appearance was against Lazio in the Champions League, moved north of the border to join Hearts before switching to Leicester at the turn of the year.

l UNITED have lost on 24 of their 54 trips to Leicester. The men from Elland Road have won on 14 occasions and have collected 16 draws.

l UNITED'S biggest win at Leicester came in the League Cup four years ago. Robbie Keane bagged four goals as David O'Leary's Leeds rattled six without reply past the Foxes. Eirik Bakke and Mark Viduka were the other men on target.

l FORMER Leeds and Leicester midfielder Matt Jones retired from the game last year due to injury. The Welshman is now forging a career in media and is likely to be present at the Walkers Stadium tomorrow.

l FIVE ex-Leicester players have been involved for Leeds this season. Winger Steve Guppy was on trial in August, Nathan Blake joined on loan in December, and Julian Joachim, now on loan at Walsall, went via Aston Villa and Coventry before landing at Elland Road. Guppy's fellow trialist Craig Hignett is also an ex-Leicester player, but never progressed beyond the bench for Leeds, while goalkeeper Kevin Pressman, who spent a month at Elland Road, takes the Foxes connection up to five.
