Now that Neil Redfearn has been given the job for at least the next three games it is hoped that the players continue to impress him and an improvement in the league position will give him a better chance of keeping the manager’s job.
A return of an old friend in Gus Poyet awaits the Whites tomorrow and he will be wanting to put one over his old club.
I think this is a game Leeds should win.
Score Prediction: Leeds 3 Brighton 1

Brighton arrive at Elland Road unbeaten in eight games and will provide caretaker Neil Redfearn with a stern test of his credentials for the post.
Leeds are hanging on to the coat tails of the top six and with Snodgrass and McCormack in a rich vein of form we are always likely to find the net.
The industrious Mackail-Smith and skilful Buckley will present a serious threat but a narrow victory is my conclusion.
Score Prediction: Leeds United 3 Brighton 2

Leeds enter the Brighton clash on the news that Neil Redfearn will continue in his role of caretaker-manager. After cruising past Bristol City last weekend, Leeds will be looking to start turning a corner in the push for a play-off place come the end of the season.
Leeds looked like a completey different side to what they have in recent weeks, they looked more relaxed with the ball, they really looked like they wanted to play football and it was encouraging for the fans.
Score Prediction: Leeds United 2 Brighton 1

After a 3-0 away win last week the caretaker gets a second chance to stake a claim for the job as Neil Redfearn’s troops entertain Brighton. United should have won the reverse fixture against Gus Poyet’s men after throwing away a two-goal lead. It is likely to be a close encounter and the Seagull’s Mackail-Smith will need to be closely watched. I expect Leeds to register three points and make Redfearn look the likely man until at least the end of the season.
Score Prediction: Leeds United 3 Brighton 2

Neil Redfearn faces the Elland Road crowd as United boss for the first time as he starts the three- game run he hopes will secure him the manager’s job full-time.His appointment seems to have been met well by the players, and as the cheapest option available will certainly appeal to the club’s hierarchy. However, it is the fans who will be the most difficult to impress, so a victory over Brighton is imperative if he is to start winning us over.
Score Prediction: Leeds 2 Brighton 1
