Leeds United sign QPR midfielder on loan

Leeds United have swooped to sign Queens Park Rangers midfielder Hogan Ephraim on loan until January 1.

The former West Ham ace, who joined the R's in January 2008 for 800,000, has found opportunities limited at Loftus Road this term, making just four league appearances - including two starts.

He has found the net twice, in League Cup games against Exeter City and Accrington Stanley.

The England youth international, 21 , is currently on the mend following an ankle injury and is need of game time, according to boss Jim Magilton.

He said: "Hogan is still recovering from his ankle injury and an important part of his rehabilitation is getting games under his belt. Leeds will provide him with a platform to do that."

Ephraim is ineligible for Sunday's FA Cup at Kettering.
