Leeds United: Same again lads urges boss Simon Grayson

Simon Grayson has warned against the perils of an "after the Lord Mayor's Show" performance at home to Leyton Orient tonight.

Runaway League One leaders United head into this evening's O's test (7.45pm) in rude health following a stunning 3-0 victory at Gus Poyet's Brighton on Saturday, labelled their "best performance of the season" so far by boss Grayson.

Results elsewhere enabled buoyant United to extend their advantage at the summit to six points with a game in hand.

The Whites, who are 10 points better off than they were after 16 league games last term, are also looking to extend their unbeaten league run on home soil to 20 matches.

Orient, in 16th place, have won just one game in their last seven outings and have already been heavily beaten 4-0 at United's promotion rivals Huddersfield Town and Norwich City this term.

But while everything points towards another home win tonight, Grayson, whose men have dropped just four points at Elland Road since losing 2-0 to Carlisle United in January, is not getting carried away.

He said: "Teams coming to Elland Road always try and make it difficult for us. But if we are anything like we were at Brighton, and have been since the start of the season, we've a good opportunity to win a game.

"But we know we can't get below the standards we set ourselves, because we know football has a horrible way of kicking you where it hurts sometimes."
