Leeds United: Offers invited for United loan man
Leeds United have been invited to bid for Darryl Flahavan after Crystal Palace confirmed that they will listen to offers for the experienced goalkeeper.
Flahavan finished this season on loan at Leeds and he is expected to leave Palace on a permanent basis this summer after failing to secure a regular run of first-team appearances at Selhurst Park.
The former Southend United player is behind Julian Speroni in Palace's selection order and he was allowed to move to Elland Road in March on the final day of the Football League's emergency loan window.
Palace manager Neil Warnock is aware of Flahavan's desire for greater involvement and he will not prevent the 30-year-old from leaving Selhurst Park if a rival club meets his valuation.
Warnock said: "I know he wants to play first-team football which I presume means he wants to go because he knows Jules is our number one here.
"He is a player I will listen to offers for."
Flahavan was suffering from a facial injury when he signed for Leeds and was restricted to one reserve-team outing during his short stint at Elland Road.
Leeds are in the market for a new keeper after freeing David Lucas last month, but the club have not indicated whether they intend to make a renewed approach for Flahavan.
