The Yorkshire Evening Post can today reveal Leeds United’s new home kit for the 2011-12 campaign.
United have unveiled their traditional white strip for the forthcoming Championship season after announcing a sponsorship deal with Enterprise Insurance.
The Gibraltar-based firm signed an initial one-year contract with Leeds and have replaced previous shirt sponsor Netflights whose three-year deal expired at the end of last term.
United’s new home kit will go on sale online and at their Elland Road shop from 8am on Saturday, July 16.
Midfielder Jonathan Howson said: “The new kit is something the players always look forward to seeing.
“All of the lads were wanting a look as soon as it arrived and you feel like the new season’s on the way now. It’s a great shirt and the start of new things.”
United’s deal with Enterprise Insurance comes four weeks before the start of the new season and in time for their first pre-season friendly at Falkirk next week.
Club chief executive Shaun Harvey said: “There was considerable interest in becoming the main sponsor of the club and we believe the relationship will deliver significant benefits to the club and our fanbase.”
Enterprise Insurance’s managing director, Andrew Flowers, said: “It’s a terrific club with a great history and an even greater future.
“On a personal note, as a lifelong supporter the deal has added significance. We’re looking forward to playing our part in the continuing Leeds success story.”
