LEEDS UNITED: Youth side to face Reds
Leeds United booked a mouth-watering FA Youth Cup third-round home date with Liverpool following a comfortable 3-0 success at minnows Oadby Town last night.
The tie with the Reds, who won the competition in 2007 and 2006, will take place at Elland Road on a date to be confirmed next month.
It will represent United's first home game in the cup for three seasons and club officials are hopeful for a bumper pre-Christmas gate.
Liverpool's youth ranks include Thomas Ince, son of former Reds, Manchester United and England midfielder Paul.
A total of 44 clubs from the Premier League and Championship will enter the competition at the third-round stage.
Holders Manchester City travel to Swansea City, while the tie of the round pits record winners Manchester City with visiting Chelsea, last year's beaten finalists.
