Leeds United: Whites wait on Lowry
Leeds United are still awaiting permission from Aston Villa to restart Shane Lowry's loan at Elland Road.
The Australian defender looks set to resume his spell with Leeds in the coming days having returned to Villa to address a knee problem.

The injury is not thought to be serious and Villa manager Martin O'Neill indicated at the start of this week that Lowry was likely to extend his loan at Elland Road, but United are yet to receive the go-ahead to bring him north him for a second time.

Lowry joined Simon Grayson's squad at the end of January, agreeing a temporary deal until March 13, but his loan was cut short after he sustained an injury in training 24 hours before United's 1-1 draw with Brentford.

Leeds sent him back to Villa last week, ruling him out of the final matches of his loan against Tranmere Rovers and Southampton, but they have the option to extend their agreement with Villa and could secure his return in time for Monday's clash with Millwall.

Grayson said: "We're just waiting to find out what's happening with him.
"People are saying that he's fit but we've not actually had the green light from the physios at Aston Villa.
"If he's fit then obviously we can decide if we want to extend the loan until the end of the season, and that's an option for us."
Lowry started eight matches for Leeds, gaining first-team opportunities which he has failed to secure regularly at Villa Park, and the Premier League side would be willing to allow him to finish the season in Yorkshire.
Andrew Hughes finished last weekend's 1-0 defeat to Southampton at left-back and could play their again during Monday's clash with Millwall, regardless of whether Lowry's loan is extended in time for the fixture.
Ben Parker, one of Grayson's recognised left-backs, made a 70-minute appearance for the club's reserves on Wednesday night but has played little competitive football this season, and Lowry's return would provide defensive cover for the last 10 matches of the League One season.
Parker could still be considered for United's match against Millwall, but Grayson has doubts over Mike Grella and Tresor Kandol, both of whom have hamstring strains.
