Leeds United: Whites settle City dispute

Leeds United have settled their dispute with Manchester City over the transfer of two 14-year-old players from Thorp Arch to Eastlands.

United were pursuing City for compensation after seeing teenagers George Swan and Louis Hutton leave their academy to move to Manchester earlier in the year, and the matter has been resolved through what the Elland Road club called an "amicable private agreement".

The case was expected to be dealt with by a tribunal with the Professional Football Compensation Committee (PFCC) setting the fee for Swan and Hutton.

The original date for the tribunal concerning Swan and Hutton was postponed due to illness affecting a member of City's staff but the case has been closed without the PFCC's involvement.

Leeds have not confirmed the precise sum received for Swan and Hutton.
