Leeds United v Nottingham Forest: Player to watch

Garath McCleary in match action.

Garath McCleary in match action.

Talented midfielder Garath McCleary is in a rich vein of form, having plundered four goals in his last eight outings – proving a vital cog in Forest’s recent mini-revival.

The pick of the bunch came in the vital 2-0 home win over relegation rivals Coventry at the City Ground on February 18, when he slalomed past several defenders in a thrilling 60-yard dash.

The 24-year-old Oxford-born player struck a beauty at Elland Road last April in front of the Kop, to get Forest back in the game in their televised fixture before they eventually went down 4-1.
