CONGRATULATIONS LEEDS!

But you always do it the hard way don't you? You put all your thousands of supporters through agony every time, including me listening on LUTV every week from Perth WA.

After the home defeat at the hands of Millwall which was live at 3am, I thought it was curtains, but you made it in the end, JUST!

Lot of work to do lads and Bobby Collins and Gordon Strachan's don't come along too often. All the best for next season.

Congratulations to the team and about time we did it.

It was all down to the final game and what a nervous time it was sat in that stand.

The fans have been terrific and deserve to be rewarded for their outstanding support all season Home and Away.

Always belived in the end Simon Grayson and the boys would do it

Bring on the Championship and the likes of Hull, Sheff Utd, Pompey, Forest.

After starting so well and playing so well it started to go wrong after the fantastic performance at Man U and becoming national news.

A few players became complasant and the 21 point cushion over 3rd disappeard and we thought here we,go again or even worse but form returned and in a classic end - of season game we finally did it

Great credit to all the squad and Simon and has bathroom staff and to see the celebrations was something I will never forget.

Well done, but about bloody time.

Now get on wi't rest of it.

Remember, you're LEEDS, not just some 25 handsome (god forbid!) prima donnas who got lucky on a spiffy pitch and in front of a crowd bleeding white at every turn. You're LEEDS! You've started it. Now finish it in another year, and then let's put Man U back in its place down the Premiership table.

Congratulations to all Whites, their families, and fans ....!

Congratulations to Leeds United, the players, the staff and the fans. There has been some ups and downs over the years, but I'm positive that the club has beeb consolidated on and off the pitch. ]

All the best for the future. Please Mr. Bates and Mr. Grayson.

Take a close look at Yora Movsisyan, who currently lines up for Randers FC in the best Danish league.

He is fast and strong, lethal to any defence. His first touch is excellent. I would love to see him in the white jersey.

As a long distance supporter who discovered Leeds as a teenager on Cup Final Night 1972 (our time) may I say what a marvellous night last Saturday was.

Thanks to BBC5 for streaming the game to this part of the world. And remember, the 1972 FA Cup started with a win over Bristol Rovers at home; maybe last Saturday is the start of another something big.

First thing first.............MARCHING ON TOOGETHER WERE GUNA SEE YOU WIN NAR NAR NAR NAR NAR NAR

In the 25 years of supporting leeds i fort the champions league semi finals was the best days of my life as a leeds supporter.

when we was relagated from the prem it killed me as a fan and it was all down to 1 man (we all know who)

things started well in the champ but then it all went down hill.

all of the play offs was heart breaking to watch and then season looked like things was getting better we started the season as if we wanted to win that title but then as always we took are eye of the ball and then the slump set in and from then on it looked like are seaon was over and another season in a league that is way too small for a club of are size and the fan base that we have.

but the boys dug deep and showed why we was top of the league by 11 points at 1 point in the season no matter what we know we was better then the team we was playing and the boys played like that howson's goal was a thing of beauty and for beckford to score the winner well the city of leeds and all the fans around the world knew that this was are time this was the moment when leeds made every team look at us.

my many thanks to SG (leeds through and through) all the players, the backroom staff and all the fans we have all had are part to play this season now its onwards and upwards never look back .

ken bates its time for you to put your hand in your pocket give SG the money he needs to help this club get on to the next step of the ladder if your not ten please sell the club to some 1 that will help this club move forward.

Again thank you to every 1

Congratulations to all at Leeds United.

This lady supporter of Leeds United for over 59 years only wishes she could have been there last Saturday to be part of the celebrations.

Setanta showed the match live here I watched it and listened to LUTV at the same time.

Thank you to Eddie Gray saying he had to say hello to Anne in Canada.

We Leeds supporters deserved to finally have a team that got promoted Now onward and upward.

I was at the match when we beat Hull to get promoted on April 28th 1956..The celebrations were wonderful.

When we had Gradel sent off on Saturday I thought now you have to really dig deep to come up with a win.

And fight they did even though Bristol scored they did not roll over and die. They fought tooth and nail Masterstroke by Grayson bringing on Howson and then the Goal that came out of the blue you must have heard me cheering from South Surrey British Columbia all the way to Elland Road.

Then the Beckford Goal me screaming louder. Then how slooooow those last few mins were I am shouting Blow the Whistle pleaseeeee. Then the FINAL whistle and the amazing scenes of Joy.

My Telephone rang and as I picked it up all I could hear was " WE ARE UP " being screamed down the phone it was my nephew from the States .

My Son and my Grandchildren were thrilled . I spent the day replaying the Match and singing MARCHING ON TOGETHER along with the Leeds Supporters at Elland Road.Fantastic and Hello to the Championship.

Wonder if I could get a ticket for the opening match bet it is going to be a full house.

For the third consecutive season, Leeds failed to win promotion via the play offs!

The lows of last year's humiliation at Histon and ultimate play off misery have been bounced into the stratosphere by conquest at Salford United and automatic promotion, in a manner you'd think was scripted by Mel Gibson.

Now we have until August for the Championship to get ready for us!

Best wishes to Simon, Mr. Bates (loved him in Jurassic Park), all the players, club members, staff and fans around the world, from this one, so very far from Elland Road, but in physical form only!

A special mention to my Dad, who brought his two boys up as Leeds fans. He might have sometimes felt guilty for doing so, but on behalf of my brother and I, we simply say 'thank you'.

Marching on together, forever, and always - well, at least until t'world stops going round...

Just wanted to say to those players who took us over the line on Saturday, that was truly a magnificent effort, one that made us all proud to be Leeds.

That typified what LUFC is all about, taking the punches but getting up off the floor to deliver the knock out blow! And to Simon, one of our own, we are indeed grateful you came home and begun our march out of the wilderness and into the...well the Championship (that'll do for now!).

Oh, and thanks Becks for the goals and the memories, good luck for the future, but remember the grass at ER is a lot greener than in Scouseland!

What a season!!

Arguably the most eventful season in my 20 years being a Leeds fan.

That 95 minutes on Saturday summed what everything is like to be a Leeds fan but also proved that even with 10 men and one nil down we refused to give up and be defeated.

Haven't been able to watch the old trafford game since we started making life difficult for ourselves but will now await the end of season dvd and put on repeat for the next 3 months (with a break for the world cup in between)

Congratulations to Super Leeds on your fantastic promotion and for finally giving us the opportunity to celebrate on home soil. Leicester in 1990 doesn't count because we weren't actually promoted that day! We won the 1969 title at Anfield, the 1974 title by virtue of Liverpool losing in midweek, and the 1992 title by virtue of manchester united losing at Anfield after we had played away at Sheffield United. We were promoted in 1990 away at Bournemouth, and even our recent play off flops were preceded by two winning away performances at Preston and Carlisle.

So, there was a reason after all why we flopped at Charlton with Millwall losing! It was meant to be at Elland Road all along, just like Geoff Boycott was meant to score his 100th hundred playing for England at Headingley versus Australia. Fate works in mysterious ways....

I think Peter Lorimer called it correctly when he said that League One was holding us back. Just watch us go now the shackles have been removed. I hope once again to be reduced to a babbling incoherent idiot at full time (at the age of 37!!).

Congratulations to everyone connected with LEEDS United from Ken Bates the Board, Manager, Backroom staff, Players down to the cleaner and tea lady as you must all be feeling very proud being associated with such a great family club.

We can all now forget the low's in the past season and disappointment from other League 1 seasons (who remembers the 2-0 defeat at Hereford on a cold Feburary evening early 2009? I do as I was their) and hopefully watch Simon and his band of (minus JB?) hero's take the Championship by storm next season.

Hopefully JB will still be a LUFC Player come next season but if not I for one wish him well and he's more than welcome back at ER in the future. I've now got three months for growing back my fingers, fingernails and hair before the joys of following Leeds United are upon again for the 2010/2011 season, will they get Promoted?

But I for one am looking forward to another fantastic Season which no-doubt will have it's highs and lows.

Although Leeds born, I have unfortunately been geographically exiled from the City, along with a lot of the world wide army, most of my life, but I have followed them for well over forty years and yes 'We have had our ups and downs'. Like most of the older supporters, I remember the glory days with great affection and pride and like all fans of this fabulous club my passion and love for LUFC is still as ardent as it was when we were the most feared team in Europe – and always will be. The main point is, thanks to Simon and his troops for a performance on Saturday that showed true character and class, WE ARE ON OUR WAY BACK! – It was a very special moment.

It was a case of double celebrations with Laura Sheard marrying her fianc Danny White and they even had a card from Simon Grayson and the players wishing them well also a Leeds programme was given also showing the couple and offering congratulations

Well done and thanks to Simon Grayson for leading us out of the desert and eventually to the Promised Land!

Amazing, what a crowd, what an atmosphere, what a result!

A masterstroke making Beckford captain.

How fitting then that he should score the winning goal! Ok, he won't have a statue or a stand named after him but after his Man Utd goal & the the winner against Bristol plus 31 in the season, he's ok by me!

Thanks Jermaine - But will you ever experience that feeling elsewhere in tyour career?

Fantastic ...

Back in late 2007 I was with a group from my son's football club on a visit to the UK. We went on a trip around Anfield as sadly many of the kids were Liverpool supporters. My son proudly, at Anfield, proclaimed his love of Leeds and taunted the tour guide that Leeds would win the Premiership before Liverpool would. . . . What odds would Paddy Power give him on that . . .and he believes we will ....

I always believed you could do it this season, even with the dip of form and at one nil down with ten men I knew you could still do it!!

You did us proud yesterday, you worked hard and thoroughly deserved the result. We're back on the way up. Thankyou Leeds United and Congratulations! MARCHING ON TOGETHER!!!!

Greetings from Kilkenny Ireland. In the 45th year of a life sentence following Leeds. My heart ,like yours, was stretched to the limit (indeed every day since that cup victory over "they who shall not be named")

I wonder should we seek sponsorship from BUPA or someone similar.

Loving Leeds can seriously damage your health. Just imagine no more Johnstone's Paint Pot and straight into Round 3 of the cup.

I had thoughts while at the Swindon game that we did not deserve to go up especially in the second half.

Then I think of Leicester and Notts Forest and how well they survived in the Championship and now I think why not.

When I first loved Leeds we were hated but it was better than the last three years when we were pitied by those in the higher divisions.

Now under Simon Grayson and players who love the shirt it is time we were admired and feared.

Long live Leeds. MOT.

From my early childhood years standing on a windswept Spion Kop, Leeds United have been part of my Yorkshire blood. They have kept me anchored to my roots and today I wore my Leeds Utd shirt with great pride.

Beating Man Utd at Old Trafford was sublime but getting promoted is the icing on the cake.

Relieved, joyous, agonised, cocky, scared, frustrated, and now ratpuous....there aren't enough words to say how every LUFC fan has felt this year. But sitting up at 2.am to watch the game live on australian TV meant I kept all the neighbours awake with my, often loud, advice to the Referee and Simon from 12,000 miles away. (Thanks Foxtel for showing the last couple of games, there are thousands of LUFC fans in Oz, and we're all rapt that we will be seeing them in the Championship next year..)

To simon and his staff, you have done a remarkable job with this squad of grinders..., To Ken Bates, you stole a marvelous brand in LUFC, it's time you opened your pockets and invested in a premier league squad. Either buy players or sell your stake in the club. don't hold Simon back the same way you cruelled Gary Mac. To Gary Mac, you too should take some of the credit for this years results. This is a squad you built, Simon finished the job. You should both be very proud,

To young Gradel. you dont know how luck you are we got through. If we had fallen short, you would have never recovered. Your behaviour was petulant and will, no doubt, be dealt with most harshly by the league and the club. You young Goose!!!!!

Well done to Larry and his lads! As a former season ticket holder before I moved to the USA a few years ago, I've seen more downs than ups over recent years including both relegations, but today was incredible. In Simon Grayson we have a manager that can take us all the way back to the Premiership I'm sure. Well done to the players who showed their true grit and determination after Gradel's sending off today and got the job done despite being a man down and a goal down.

This is the stuff of unrealistic movie scripts! What a truly fantastic day. Well done Leeds!

Congratulations! Great victory - this was like in the old days and a historic win!

In 1990 - 20 years ago I stood on ER watching Leeds United against WBA - 2-2.

That year Leeds was promoted after a very close race and close also this time.

Leeds United has showed today what this club is made off - absolutely fantastic!

Well done and congratulations to Simon and the boys. A fitting end to a long season.

All the best wishes to Jermaine Beckford wherever he goes.

Hopefully he will change his mind and stay as all the Leeds fans love a hero.Think about it Jermaine before you make your mind up.

Enjoy your party boys.

Well done the boys - very fitting that Beckford should seal matters, albeit ably supported by nine brave whites. Now for the Championship.......with (or without) Jermaine?

I have been supporting United since I came to study at Leeds university from the far east in summer of 2004. I personally don't know the glory days of United but I believe we are on the right track and they will show us new chapter of new glory days! Congrats all players and Simon Grayson! Amazing day!

Seiji from London

I could notbe there along with 39,000 fans to see Leeds finally get a step nearer where they belong. It was a nail biting finish, but what a fantastic result.

Let us hope that some of our locally producedplayers and people like Somma are involved. We need new blood along with the experience of Snodgrass etc.

I cannot wait for the new season, but let us hope that Huddersfield can see off the Southern teams in the play offs to go up as well.

Tony Booth

Well done Leeds, we deserve it after the season we have had. Look forward to the Championship next season, but for now, its time to celebrate, enjoy yourself lads! Marching on Together.
