Leeds United: Grella's ready for loan call - Grayson
Leeds United plan to send Mike Grella out of Elland Road on loan, with manager Simon Grayson believing the striker would benefit from a temporary spell away from the club.
Grayson confirmed the American forward would be available for transfer during the Football League's emergency loan window due to the number of other attacking players at Leeds.

The 23-year-old has appeared in two games as a substitute this season but failed to make the bench for last month's clash at Watford, forced out of Grayson's squad by the signing of Ross McCormack from Cardiff City.

Grella, who signed a three-year deal with Leeds 12 months ago, is in danger of another inactive season at Elland Road, following on from a term when he started just three league fixtures.

A proposed loan to Oxford United collapsed shortly before last month's transfer deadline but Grayson is willing to listen to offers for Grella.
"He's one we'll look to get some football for," said Grayson. "If someone comes and asks if he's available, and I've got a full compliment of players, then I'd consider it.
"He's had a frustrating time. Last year – and this goes for some other strikers as well – I was always going to fall back on Luciano (Becchio)
and Jermaine (Beckford). Ultimately, they were my front pairing.
"This year we've brought in other players as well and it's forced Mike down a little bit.
"If he does go out on loan he needs to look at the example Davide Somma set by going out (to Lincoln City), scoring goals and coming back with
a lot of confidence.
"I believe that Mike's got the talent to play in the Championship. He might just need a run of games somewhere to get him going again."
