SWINDON TOWN boss Mark Cooper admits he is flattered at being linked with the vacant Leeds United head coach post - but insists he has not finished his ‘project’ at the County Ground.

Wakefield-born Cooper, 45, son of Super Leeds great Terry, has seen his odds plummet in the betting for the vacant position at Elland Road.

The boyhood Leeds fan has done an impressive job working with limited resources at Swindon since taking over in August 2013 and despite shocked at being linked so highly in the betting for the Whites position and somewhat flattered, he is concentrating on completing a ‘big job’ at the County Ground.

He said: “It’s always flattering to be associated with jobs and especially Leeds, with the family history.

“But I’ve got a big job on here, I’ve started a project, its going the right way and I’m thoroughly enjoying myself.”
