A frustrating afternoon for United in London and once again it was two points dropped. United were in control for the majority of the game and had the better of the chances, but credit to the home team's rearguard, who withstood everything United could throw at them. The returning Patrick Kisnorbo was United's man of the match, for me, on a day where Robert Snodgrass's craft was missed, and messrs Gradel, Beckford and Becchio were unable impose themselves on the game. We should see some squad rotation tonight with Beckford, and possibly Kilkenny or Howson, enjoying a rest.

Brentford decided their best chance of stopping Leeds playing was to keep the ball airborn as long and as often as possible on a pitch reminiscent of the Baseball Ground in the 80s. The result was a drab encounter which United shaded on chances but for once Beckford misfired and without Snodgrass and Johnson the scoring options are limited. The major plus was the return of Kisnorbo, who was consummate throughout, and Naylor to the bench. Gradel was utilised on the left to accommodate Howson who had another ineffective game and must be due a rest. Grayson will no doubt shuffle the pack again for tonight's visit of an Accrington Stanley side in good form and likely to provide stubborn opposition.

As we approach the halfway point of the season, United continue to collect valuable points away from home. Whilst we should have perhaps taken all the spoils at Brentford on Saturday, a simple point is not to be sneered at – despite letting our rivals close the gap. United came close several times, with Beckford having a few chances, however, a heavy pitch and maybe some heavy legs meant we endured a frustrating afternoon. There is no rest for the wicked; we face an Accrington side who had a good win at Notts County on Saturday in the JPT.

The Leeds fans didn't let a pretty dismal game spoil a good day out in the big smoke. For those kind of games it's important not to lose, so to come away undefeated with another promotion point accrued, we can't really complain. I'd like to see Beckford get back on the goalscoring bandwagon ASAP, goals fuel his confidence and we need a 100 per cent confident Beckford to spearhead our promotion charge. Great to see Paddy Kisnorbo back in the team to marshall the defence, he's slowly turning into cult hero at the club and no coincidence for me that Bromby had his best game in a Leeds shirt alongside the Aussie international.

A tired Leeds team travelled to Brentford and hit a brick wall against a very determined Bees side. It was a frustrating afternoon watching from the terrace as we struggled to create many clear-cut opportunities. We had a couple of half chances that were not converted and it was clear that it wasn't going to be our day. Robert Snodgrass's presence was hugely missed and his replacement 'Super Max' didn't really get into the game. Simon Grayson will consider putting out a weaker team tonight in the JPT to keep our lads fresh for in-form Southampton on Saturday.
