Burnley v Leeds United: Key battle - Jason Shackell v El-Hadji Diouf

Jason Shackell.

Jason Shackell.

The Burnley skipper has had his hands full at the back this term, with the Clarets having leaked 19 goals – more than any other Championship side, while squandering 13 points from winning positions.

A little bit of solace has been provided in the Lancastrians’ last two home games, which have yielded clean sheets in wins against Wolves and Blackpool.

But the home defence will need to be alert to keep Diouf, who has netted in his past two games, under lock and key tonight.
