Lawnswood: School to represents Leeds in West Yorkshire Youth Games
Lawnswood School Badminton team is representing Leeds at the West Yorkshire Youth Games for the second year running.
The Games are held at theHeadingley Campus of Leeds Metropolitan University on June 28 and involve over 600 young sports competitors from across West Yorkshire.
Lawnswood School will be entering a larger team than last year although a number of the students involved will be the sameand these students will all be hoping to prove howmuch they haveimprovedover thelast 12 months.
Team manager, Alistair Young, said, "I am delightedthat mybadminton team will once again be representing Leeds and Ilook forward to seeing how my different players, some of whom have not played at any big tournaments before, fair against top county level opposition."
