LEEDS UNITED head coach Garry Monk has no new injury worries ahead of Saturday's Championship showdown with Brighton at Elland Road - for which Luke Ayling and Kalvin Phillips will both be suspended.

Right back Ayling serves the first match of a two-game ban for picking up his tenth yellow card of the season against QPR last weekend, while midfielder Phillips completes his two-match suspension for receiving his third red card of the season - and second in the Championship - in the 1-1 draw at Fulham.

But young defenders Lewie Coyle and Tyler Denton remain United’s only injuries, with Coyle recovering from a foot injury and Denton having had an operation on his knee.

Speaking at Thursday afternoon’s Thorp Arch press conference, Monk revealed: “There are no injuries whatsoever, apart from obviously, as before, Lewie Coyle and Tyler Denton.

“Obviously Luke and Kalvin will be suspended for the game but everyone else is fully fit.

“Lewie and Tyler will still be a few weeks.

“We are looking for hopefully Lewie to maybe be rejoining us after the international break when we come out of it.

“And Tyler maybe a couple of weeks after that.

“But they are progressing nicely in their rehab and we are looking forward to them being back out on the pitches with us.”
