Leeds United will meet non-league Guiseley in a pre-season friendly at Nethermoor next month, 24 hours before the Elland Road club visit Peterborough United.

United have arranged a Friday night trip to Guiseley on July 22, one of four fixtures scheduled for the run-up to the start of the new Championship season.

Leeds, who will head to Dublin for matches against Shelbourne and Shamrock Rovers on July 13 and July 16, are due to play away at League One side Peterborough on Saturday, July 23.

New head coach Garry Monk is expected to use senior players against both Guiseley and Peterborough, his first matches as United boss on English soil.
