Farsley AFC have been buoyed by the news that many of last season’s squad have committed to the upcoming campaign.
The Villagers, who play their football in the Evo-Stik Division One North League, will be hoping to improve on last season, when they narrowly missed out on a play-off spot.
Captain Robbie O’Brien, defender Matt Dempsey and last season’s top scorer, Aiden Savory, were among the first to sign on.
They have been joined by goalkeeping duo Tom Morgan and Tom Taylor as well as wingers Danny Hull and Josh Grant.
Striker Adam Priestley has again committed, as well as academy product Kyle Hancock, who made his first-team debut in the final game of the last season.
The full-back duo of Aaron Hardy and Ryan Serrant will also be at Throstle Nest when pre-season training starts. Hardy said: “Obviously we missed out on the play-offs last year but I feel we can make a real push this season, and even for the title. I had a couple of offers from elsewhere, but as soon as I knew the club wanted me I was more than happy to stay.”
